ECOmfort- a Vision Statement

Ever changing environmental and social conditions attribute to the innovation of new climate control technologies to provide effective air comfort in the living spaces. Local environment keeps changing due to changes taking place in local climates and the eco systems in which we humans and other living species grow, sustain, and thrive. These natural changes and changes taking place due to human industrial activities our living conditions indoor and outdoor are challenged by the rise in temperature, dust, pollens, smokes, humidity, gas emissions, fumes, and different types of pathogens, allergens, and viruses. Thus, the creation of human comfort in the living spaces became a bigger challenge. We at Eco Pacific taking the advantage of the successful experience of the last 25 years and the COVID-19 pandemic of year 2020 realised that the human comfort must be redefined. Like the mask on our faces to prevent the spread of viruses every house and other buildings must be fitted outdoor with a filter box through which fresh air can flow to meet the need of the entire building. The filter box must be located outdoor to the building on the wall or under the eve to be accessible by the user to be able to clean or change the filter easily. This is the new approach that we at Eco Pacific are taking to provide healthy comfortable air to our customers. Keeping this holistic view in mind, we research, design, develop, and manufacture energy efficient, eco-friendly, cost effective air comfort solutions. The fresh filtered air heat recovery ventilation is now a part of our core business, which distinguishes Eco Pacific from other manufacturers and suppliers. Eco Pacific is the pioneer in this field and is committed to helping its customers achieve air comfort levels to their individual needs.

Eco Pacific manufactures Super Star range of novel high efficiency compact gas ducted heaters in single gas rate as a standard that provide cost effective temperature-controlled air comfort. The new generation heaters have been designed to allow retrofitting of the fresh filtered air heat recovery ventilators (FAHRVS) to provide air comfort to the next higher level with control of indoor air temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2), and the dust to the level of PM2.5 ppm (2.5 micron plus size particles) suspended in the indoor air. The AussiVent, an Eco Pacific brand of fresh filtered air heat recovery ventilator will be able to meet the fresh filtered air requirements of the houses, offices, health clinics, restaurants, schools, age-care centres, and clean rooms is offered separately as an option with the heaters. The AussiVent can be retrofitted to the upcoming Mega Star, a two-stage (High/Low) range of high efficiency non-condensing compact gas ducted heaters.

To provide energy efficient fresh air effective cooling, Eco Pacific offers Aqua Breeze range of fresh air evaporative coolers that have been successfully running in the Australian and overseas markets for more than 20 years. These are very cost-effective coolers, which are designed to create maximum cooling effect using water evaporation and inducing fresh outdoor hot air flow through the saturated wet pads, using a single power efficient overheat protected fan motor. The coolers are used in houses, offices, factories, restaurants, health centres, schools, and age-care centres.

Eco Pacific in collaboration with RMIT University Melbourne has conducted investigations on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) including pathogens pre-and post-installation of AussiVent fresh filtered air heat recovery ventilators in 5 Age Care centres and 5 primary schools in Victoria. As a result, the AussiVent was found to have enhanced the indoor air quality reducing the concentrations of CO2, PM2.5, mould, and bacteria to the levels compliant to the relevant standards.
